What we do to your car

Two core services in Kansas City: protect the paint you have, or change the look entirely. Both are installed by us, by hand, in a clean controlled space.

PPFReplace with a real photo of your PPF work

Paint protection film

A nearly invisible urethane shield over your factory paint. It takes the rock chips, bug acid, and highway grit so your paint doesn't — and the good stuff self-heals light swirls with heat.

  • Front-end packages: bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors
  • Full-body coverage for daily drivers and weekend cars
  • Precision-cut patterns with hand-wrapped edges

WRAPReplace with a real photo of a color-change wrap

Custom vinyl wraps

A whole new color and finish without touching your original paint — and it protects what's underneath while it's on. Gloss, satin, matte, color-shift, or a clean chrome delete.

  • Full color-change wraps
  • Partial wraps, accents, and roof/trim blackouts
  • Chrome delete for a factory-sharp look

Why people pick Prime Wraps KC

We're new, and we use that on purpose. You get the attention a big shop can't give and none of the corners a cheap one cuts.

01

You deal with the owners

The two people who own the business are the two people who touch your car. Not whichever tech was free that day.

02

Honest, upfront pricing

You'll know the number before we start, with materials and labor itemized. No mystery add-ons when you come to pick up.

03

Obsessed with the edges

The edges are where cheap installs fail. We wrap and seal every one by hand so nothing lifts, peels, or catches the eye.

What it costs (roughly)

Most KC shops hide their pricing. We don't. Every car is different, so these are honest starting points — you'll get an exact quote before anything happens.

Questions people always ask

What's the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?+
PPF is a physical urethane film that takes the hit from rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating is a liquid layer that adds gloss and makes washing easier but won't stop chips. Many people run both — film first, ceramic on top.
How long does paint protection film last?+
Quality film typically lasts 7–10 years depending on the product and how you care for it. We only install film that's backed by a real manufacturer warranty.
Is a wrap better than repainting my car?+
For a color change, a wrap is usually cheaper, faster, reversible, and it protects the original paint underneath — which helps resale. Paint makes sense if there's existing damage to fix.
Do you come to me, or do I drop the car off?+
Film and wrap installs need a clean, controlled space, so those happen at our shop. Reach out and we'll sort out drop-off timing that works for you.
